Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 23, 2026
Binfinite LLC ("Binfinite", "we", "us") operates a mobile-first comics marketplace for iOS and Android, together with related websites (collectively, the "Service"), available in the United States. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have.
Information we collect
- Account details. When you sign up we receive your email address and shipping address from Apple Pay or Google Pay, or your name and email address from Apple, Google, or Facebook if you use social sign-in. You may also add a display name and social handles.
- Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. Card details go directly to Stripe — we never store full card numbers. We store Stripe identifiers that link your account to your Stripe customer record (and, for sellers, your Stripe Connect account). Sellers provide identity-verification (KYC) information directly to Stripe.
- Marketplace activity. Listings you create, items you buy or sell, swipes, saved items, Stacks, orders, reviews, disputes, and reports.
- Location. Approximate location derived from your postal code (or, with your permission, your device location reduced to a postal-code-level area) to power the distance-based discovery feed. We do not track your precise movements.
- Device & usage data. App interactions, crash reports, and diagnostic data, collected through PostHog product analytics, to improve the Service. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
- Communications. Messages you send to support and notification preferences, including a push-notification token if you enable push notifications.
How we use information
- To operate the marketplace — listings, discovery, orders, shipping, and payouts.
- To process payments and seller payouts through Stripe.
- To send transactional notifications about your orders, sales, and disputes (you control channels in Settings).
- To prevent fraud, resolve disputes, enforce our Terms, and comply with law.
- To understand how the Service is used and improve it.
Sharing
We share personal information only with:
- Service providers that process it on our behalf: Stripe (payments and payouts), Convex (application infrastructure and data hosting), PostHog (product analytics), and providers of email and push-notification delivery.
- Other users, as necessary to complete a transaction — for example, a buyer's shipping address is shared with the seller for fulfillment, and public profile information (display name, reviews, general area) is visible in the app.
- Authorities or other parties where required by law, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (with notice to you).
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising.
Launch waitlist and marketing email
If you join the launch waitlist on this website, we collect three things: the email address you enter, the option you pick when you sign up (for example whether you're here to buy, to sell, or both), and which form on this site the signup came from. We use them for one purpose: to tell you when Binfinite launches and to send occasional updates about that launch. Joining the waitlist does not create an account. The option you pick and the form you used are used only to understand who is interested and where that interest is coming from. We do not sell this information, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not share it with anyone other than the email delivery provider that sends the message on our behalf.
Every email we send to the waitlist includes a one-click unsubscribe link. Using it withdraws your consent and stops the emails. You can also ask us to delete your waitlist entry entirely, at any time and for any reason, by emailing privacy@binfinite.io, and we will delete it.
Cookies and similar technologies
This website does not use cookies. The pages you are reading are static: they run no analytics, no advertising or tracking scripts, and no third-party embeds, and they do not write cookies, local storage, or similar identifiers to your browser. The waitlist form is a plain HTML form — submitting it sends only the fields you filled in. That is why this site has never asked you to accept cookies: there is nothing to consent to.
Our hosting and network providers may set strictly necessary cookies to deliver the site securely — for example to balance traffic or to block abuse. Cookies of this kind are required for the site to work, are not used to identify you or follow you across other sites, and are not read by us.
The Binfinite app works differently, and we describe it here for completeness. It stores information on your own device: a sign-in token that keeps you logged in, your settings and preferences, and the analytics identifiers used by PostHog described above. The first two are essential to using the app at all; the third is used only to understand and improve the Service. None of them are advertising trackers, and we do not use them to build a marketing profile of you or to target ads. Our internal staff consoles use a sign-in session that is strictly necessary for access control.
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. Because this website sets none, doing so will not affect how it works. If we ever add cookies or similar technologies here that are not strictly necessary, we will ask for your consent first and update this section before they are used.
Your choices and rights
- Access & export. You can download a copy of your data in the app: Settings → Privacy & Data → Export My Data.
- Deletion. You can delete your account in the app: Settings → Privacy & Data → Delete Account. We anonymize your personal data immediately; transaction records that involve another user or that we must keep for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention reasons are retained without your identity. Identity information held by Stripe is deleted through Stripe.
- Notifications. You can turn push and email notifications on or off in Settings.
- By email. You can make any privacy request — access, correction, deletion, or a question — at privacy@binfinite.io. We respond within the time required by applicable law and do not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
United States state privacy rights
If you live in California or another U.S. state with a consumer privacy law, you have the rights to know, access, correct, and delete the personal information we hold about you, and the right to opt out of "sales" or "sharing" of personal information. Binfinite does not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act. You may exercise your rights through the in-app tools above or by emailing privacy@binfinite.io, including through an authorized agent.
Data retention & security
We retain personal information while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, resolve disputes, and meet legal and tax obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymized. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards — including encryption in transit and access controls — to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you, we will notify you as required by law.
Children
The Service is for adults 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18; if we learn we have, we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy as the Service evolves. If a change is material we will give notice in the app or by email before it takes effect; the "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
