Delete Your Account & Data

You can delete your Binfinite account and personal data at any time. This page explains how to request deletion and exactly what happens to your information.
How to delete your account
- In the app (fastest). Open Binfinite and go to Settings → Privacy & Data → Delete Account. You'll confirm, and we anonymize your personal data immediately.
- By email. If you can't access the app, email privacy@binfinite.io from the address on your account (or include enough detail for us to identify it) with the subject "Delete my account". We verify the request and complete deletion within 30 days, and sooner where required by law.
Before you delete
To protect both sides of a transaction, you can't delete your account while you have obligations still in flight. Resolve these first:
- open orders (awaiting payment, shipment, or delivery confirmation);
- open disputes; and
- pending seller payouts.
The app tells you if any of these are blocking deletion. Once they're resolved, deletion proceeds.
What gets deleted
- Your personal data is anonymized immediately — email, display name, shipping address, approximate location, social handles, and push-notification token are removed from your account record.
- Your Stripe records are deleted. We delete your Stripe customer record and, for sellers, your Stripe Connect account, so your payment and identity-verification data is removed from our payment processor.
- Your active listings are removed and any drafts deleted.
What we keep, and why
Some records are retained without your identity because we are legally required to keep them or because they involve another person:
- transaction records (orders, payouts, refunds, disputes) needed for tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, and legal obligations — these are kept in anonymized form, no longer linked to you; and
- the other party's side of any completed transaction (for example, a seller's record of a sale), which we can't erase on their behalf.
Timing
In-app deletion anonymizes your personal data right away; the Stripe offboarding and listing cleanup complete shortly after. Email requests are completed within 30 days of verification, and sooner where the law requires.
